Just Ordered this Gaming Machine Today ! Can't Wait To Lay my Hands on it!

Guys this is the perfect successor for HP Pavilion G6-2313 AX though it sounds strange with the 2312 kind of stuff creating a bit of a havoc with its od brother 2313 AX though...

But unfortunately the RAM is lesser compared to its predecessor I.E 2313AX had 6 Gigs And this has only 4 Gigs but never-the-less this one has the same prototype of its predecessor 2313AX and AMD still doing good with its flagship processor...

This will be my 1st review in this website and are for those who are confused about purchasing this machine or not.
1st of all I haven’t bought this laptop from flipkart and believe me the prices of the market is nearly the same here in Kolkata.

1. Looks : Its Black machine with metal plated "HP" in the Up right Corner. The Touch, Texture is all same with other G6 machines.
2. Keyboard : Have Chiclets Keyboard Full sized ..And other features like LED's on Power button, Adapter plug, CD ROM. No buttons on the back side of laptop.
3. USB : 2 * 3.0 USB AND 1 * 2.0 USB sockets. Enough and usual i guess.

After 3-4 weeks of using the laptop I must say that its good enough at the price range.
I am not an avid gamer but still like to test laptops for their power...so installed

about laptop

good:

good for multitasking

good for playing games


bad:

ram is 4GB.Good if it has 8GB or lastly 6GB.

battery life is around 3 hours(with out playing games) which could have been at least 4 hours.

apart from that.the laptop is good which would get around 40k with win 8.

every one i buy this laptop,and using it with (8 GB) (originally 4 GB) RAM ,
and it is great laptop,
and i have read most of the comment on this and also for 2313ax (both are almost same)
i) battery i read in many reviews that it gives 3 hs but if you are just browsing internet then it gave me up to 4hs 30 min of backup and while plying games 45 min
ii)about heating issue i have used it for 5-6 day and it never heat as must as my friends del (while browsing ) but as soon as you start play...

at the end of January I was planing to by a laptop so I check out flipkart for one at that time this laptop was not available in flipkart but g6-2313ax was available
As I live in Kolkatta so I first approach local HP dealer Near by but at That time neither 2313 or 2312 was available but one of the dealer promise me on paying advance I can get 2312 ax in first week of February as price declaration was not done that time,
The price declaration of this laptop in kolkatta was done in 9th feb and ...

I am writing the review from the very same laptop.
This is a great laptop for the price asked.

People might face an issue when running the laptop on battery. The screen keeps adjusting its brightness levels which is highly irritating. It can be fixed simply by right clicking on desktop-> go to graphics properties->power->powerplay. You will find an option "Enable Vari-bright". Uncheck this option and you are good to go.

I am an architecture student. I need to use autocad, revit etc. now and then. I spent many months thinking abt whether or not i should go for AMD instead of Intel. I had budget constraints actually. Finally i chose HP 2313ax as it had 6 GBs of RAM at lower price as compared to 2312ax. But i didnt got 2313ax at Nehru Place, New Delhi... But got 2312ax at 38000 rupees. And now i am super happy. I would really recommed to buy pc with preinstalled operating system if u r not an advanced user. All...

I bought this machine one month back.So far I am completely happy with its performance. The machine comes with 4GB RAM and i upgraded it to 8GB.

1. Booting time - just 4-5 sec
2. Battery - 3.5 hours regular use and 1 hour for gaming ( i tired with GTA 4)
3. Decent build quality, but i think touch pad is not up to the mark
4. No heating issues for regular use. But obviously heat is there while playing hot games with high graphics
5. Decent sound quality
