The mouse is comfy to hold. It's been ergonomically designed to fit into your palm while using. The thing runs on a single AA battery which is provided with the pack.
While opening the pack, be very careful where the receptor is. it's just tucked away in a packaging flap and is very very easy to miss. I would suggest fixing it to the USB port of your laptop and not removing it unless required. that way you cannot lose it

No, really...just buy this mouse, it's awesome (and YES, it works on MAC computers!)
Pros:
- really nice, comfortable design that wraps around your hand
- double texture (matte finish on sides, glossy finish on top), just like the icing on a cake

1. 1000 - 1200 - 1600 dpi settings (I couldn't find it online but figured it has to be better than X3000's 1200 dpi, so bought it)
2. The sensor is precise and doesn't skip on glass, tracking is even and smooth
3. Speed is good @1600dpi
4. The picture on fk makes it look weird, but its not. Fits just right in my hand.
5. Has power saver modes, hence longer battery life
Applications: I use it for - Cad, pro 3d tools and gaming. (Autocad, 3ds max, revit, blacklist and watchdogs, primarily)...
