HTC 8S Review

I have been using HTC 8S for past 10-15 days. It will not be correct to compare the phone of this stature with 620. HTC 8S asthetics give it a big plus compared to Nokia's. Its very thin and light. There is a big 15-20 gram gap between Nokia 620 & HTC 8S.

Being Super LCD, the colours are vibrant on HTC 8S, thouugh i have not looked at 620's screen but whatever i have read, that screen is at best equal to HTC 8S.

In marrying Hardware and software, HTC is next only to Apple. Nokia at this pr...

Something about its audio.....

All those saying it has beats audio and it makes edge over 620, let me clear something.
Yes! it has beats audio, BUT not the amplifire which is in 8x. Its only a digital software to enhance your listening experience. what it delivers is deep artificial bass to cook your ears. It only works when headset is used.
Is there Nothing in 620???
NO! 620 also has similar digital enhancement, The Dolby Headphones (its not any physical headphone, but just a name to that feature) which is better than bea...

HTC 8s review

1. Built quality is great.
2. Display is S-LCD which is really good in this price range.(for lumia 620 it is LCD)
3. The 5 MP Camera could have been better (Low light imaging is poor- heard it is better in lumia 620)
4. Touch interface is very much responsive.
5. Dual core processor make it smooth to operate.
6. Lack of preloaded apps (but u get a number of apps in the market)
7. Beats audio is awesome.
8. External speakers could have been louder.
9. Connectivity is good which it should be.

Change your mindset!

I took the bold step of changing my mindset and accepting change. From an Android user to a Windows 8 user good decision. But most important is the device from HTC. A Sculpture's device which is beautiful, very sleek and excellent display. Only drawback is you cannot remove the battery. I don't know what needs to be done if the phone ever hangs. Go to the service center?
The phone memory is not usable since the OS itself utilizes it. You need add-on memory.

But most imp part was the order pr...

A great handset.

Okay let me tell u what this phone doesnt do:
1.Very little storage for apps and games. Yes, you can download smaller apps but big apps like Asphalt 8 for example come at a whopping 850 mb...... I for one dont play games on the phone, and use it primarily for calls, texting, social networks, music and movies. So if apps are important to you, dont even get a windows phone, as you will be shocked with the poor availability of good apps.

2. It does NOT run blazing fast all the time. I myself hav...

Windows8, Looks, Feel, Music, Camera, and Internet =HTC 8S

A desirable phone, and red colour is exceptional. The hand on experience on this phone, turns out to be fast, responsive, and flawless. Its has 1 GHz Qualcomm Krait, Dual Core processor, which makes everything very responsive and flawless. Indeed HTC 8S gives a very up market feel, people often ask about this phone as they see it in my hand, and i always get a positive response. It always gives an good feeling.

Music : In terms of music this phone gives exceptionally good sound all because ...

A phone that is not for everyone

HTC 8S is NOT FOR YOU if you are a tech savvy and "install millions of apps" (just kidding - hundreds of apps :) ----- for below reasons,
--- you have few apps available in Windows App Store
--- phone memory is neither 1GB (unlike HTC 8X priced at 34,000/-) nor 2GB. It is just 0.5GB
--- If "only specs matter" for you and nothing else.

HTC 8S is FOR YOU if you
--- love beautiful and well designed mobiles - it is a great design for 18K - No other beautiful device available at this pric...

HTC 8S MORE BETTER THAN LUMIA 620

HTC QUALITY IS BETTER THAN NOKIA 620.......

THE ADVANTAGES ARE FOLLOWS-
1) LIGHT WEIGHT THAN LUMIA 620.
2) MORE SLIM THAN LUMIA 620.
3) BATTERY BACKUP IS MORE BATTER THAN LUMIA 620.
4)AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR REALLY WORKING BUT IN CASE OF LUMIA 620 DONT UNDERSTAND.
6)KILLING LOOKS THAN LUMIA 620.
7)NOKIA CLAIMS THAT THEY USE SAME PROCESSOR(1 GHZ QUALCOM SNAPDRAGON DUAL CORE) BUT I FEEL HTC IS MORE FASTER THAN LUMIA 620 .

IF U WANT QUANTITY SO U CAN GO FOR LUMIA 620 BUT IF U WANT QUALITY AND PER...

For those who give edge to lumia 620

those who think lumia 620 will be price 13.5k are completely wrong..it will not be less than 15k..same for people who thinks to buy Lumia 920 over htc 8x..lumia 920 will be around 40k whil Lumia 820 30k..these info i got from nokia source.

Another point, a phone around 15k should not look like a toy which lumia 620 is..the first thing people notice is looks of a phone..hardware are so good these days u cant feel much unless u compare with another devie.

HTC 8s is extreamly good loooking..ch...

avoid other comments

well i have been using this phone that i bought from htc store in north delhi. and it works great than these reviews say. it dont have front facing camera thats the only disadvantage. there is an option of using games and other stuff on sd card. if these poor people havent got one yet. keep searching. HTC is far better than nokia .. as per specification but you wont get that user satisfaction while using 13,500 worth of phone instead of using this 19,400 worth phone... dont go for specificati...
