The product has good performance. The product was delivered before time but the seller has not mentioned EMEI no of cell and battery serial no on bill, without which your bill is not valid for warranty claiming. I have also confirmed the same from HTC service center that bill must have the cell EMEI no and battery serial no for warranty purpose. I bought this phone in first week of january. In 10 days of purchasing, I came across two major issues.
(1) If I click picture using front camera in Landscape mode, no pic is taken and I am directed to Home screen.
(2) If I answer a waiting call, the receiver speaker and mic stops working. Even they dont work for any other call. To solve this problem, I have to restart my phone.

I updated my phone software, now its working fine.....but I dont know, for how much time, its going to work.

It is one of the best phones in the range better than samsung,sony.Don't talk about micromax or xolo nobody takes the piece of shit on them.hTc is the best and please don't compare it with micromax,firstly use both the phone and then tell.I'm using it and the look and standard of the phone,and talk about the beats audio to nobody is there at the level is just the best!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this phone with my best friend after lot of brain storming. Wanted to buy the Samsung Galaxy Grand or the Sony Xperia C. HTC desire 501 was as good as the Samsung Grand and Xperia C. Here are my thoughts on an amazing phone. all my friends and colleagues(neeraj, arun) told me good choice. Totally I satisfied with the product very much.

awesome phone.....battery pack up is great......2 days easily using net, calling, music , videos........htc sense the great. Innovative phones as compared to samsung which keeps on laging........In short value for money.........

The image of the back cover says Beats Audio.
Some specs like the processor seem to be lower than the 500. Others are mostly same. Battery and Internal Storage seem higher. Price point it lower. Looks good. Should be worth waiting for instead of buying the 500?
