good phone poor battery
good quality from htc but poor battery . desire 700 is overpriced. battery even diddent last half day also with internet usage .

go for it !!!!
This phone is awesome, with HTC boom sound it rocks. Superb camera and brilliant picture quality. I Don't why people don't prefer HTC , but believe me HTC is very dependable company.

Good phone, but unfair pricing.
Hi all - I am a big HTC fan and have recently, bought this phone from a local shop here, I have been using this for a few days and the phone overall is impressive as is with most HTC phones.
Having said so, there are a few points which I wanna highlight as demerits of this phone:
1. Over priced, sure is...nothing special here other than the design which is truly impressive. The performance of this phone is okay but not very impressive or as you should expect from a 30,000 worth phone. Play...

The Pictures on Flipkart
Hello people. This phone is amazing. I own it.. It was a gift to me from my sister... when she returned from the US. please check YouTube.com and see videos related to its unboxing to see what it actually looks like. the pictures here are wrong.
However..
phone is AMAZING
Dual Frontal Speakers ROCKING
Battery may not be a full 24 hours.. but its good enough to get through the day. (14-16 hours) and I am a power user.

Nice phone bu HTC
first i would like to thank flipkart for this they shipped this in 2 days and i have got it wil all the accessories.
such a nice phone at this price , must buy it.
i used and i feel its very fast and the camera is too nice , better than samsung and other this range phone.

first of all, great service from flipkart, always a hassle free shopping experience when buying from them. i'd been using a nokia n8 for a long time, and bitching about it and wanting to buy a new phone for even longer, and everybody i knew had been hearing me whine for so long that nobody really cared. when they saw me with this sexy beast of a phone though, i'll ever forget the look on their faces!...

definitely worth it
camera-great quality..comes with htc zoe which is a great feature -5stars
touch-htc sense works perfectly but experienced a tiny prob initally where the phone would randomly switch off in 1 or 2 instances..neverthless 4.7 stars
battery-would come up to a 16-18 hour use..4.3 stars
To sum up,
definitely worth the money..has a blend of features..dont listen to crappy reviews critising HTC..HTC is one of the best brands ever..dont understand why people prefer cheap samsung rather than a qualit...

The phone is getting switched of now and then
The flipkart shipping was fast. I have been using the phone for one week, and it is getting switched off every now and then.

It's one of the good products available in the market with great sound and a fine quality of image. Boom Sound makes HTC Desire 700 more awesome than others !!
Guys, if you really are looking for a worth going smart, here is the one. Please stop cribbing on the smaller issues. Both quality and price can't match together for long, you gotta compromise on one.
Also, once being addicted to the HTC UI, You go addicted to it and can't resist going for HTC.

best buy if price drops to Rs. 18,000/-
PROS: 1. Good internet speed. 2. Good camera 3. Good Audio video 4. Good looks. 5. overall good features.
CONS: 1. Call drops before software update. 2. not so convenient in holding it for more than a minute. 3. Battery is average.
