i have read this book and the language of the book is so easy to understand for any one.. my experience with this book is good and i have learned quite a lot from this book which is more than enough for a normal user who has ok interest in web designing..

The book is very good for the new learners.
- Every chapter gives you a detailed walk through about related concepts and background, before jumping into 'practicals' section. This is very useful if you're jumping into web development for the first time.
- It has an exhaustive list of methods and properties. This acts as good reference.

i bought this book to learn html5....and it's really easy to learn from this book as after each chapter they've explained all the elements and their attributes with the codes in an organized manner...and the explanation is good enough to understand any topic....
i wont say it's the best book...but it's not tough to learn html from this book...

A book that contains HTML5, CSS, Javacript, XML,XHTML, AJAX and Jquery parts. Everything is neat and well organised. Sample Programs are given after each chapter to make you understand all the coding they taught.
A good book for beginers :)

So I was new to the .Net world and needed some HTML skills to support my coding and this book just did its magic. The best part is the way its chapters are divided into Theory and Practical parts. You can first read and try understand, and practical part just nails the thoery in right direction.

its a great book for starters and its very useful for quick reference.
every chapter contains examples with clear pictures and they also provide that programs in the cd given with the book.
language is also simple for understanding.

This is a good book where we can gather information for html5 and other web oriented topics . I will say this is a complete solution for a designer. I really enjoyed learning this book. I found many thing which i don't know before, and this is really interesting for me.

I had to go through some really harsh reviews for this book when I was buying it (there were the good ones as well). Honestly, its not that bad a book.

i have purchased this book after seeing these great reviews. but i must say sadly that it is a great disappointment. now i have to doubt the genuineness of the reviews.

the order of presentation is really poor. the author doesn't know what should be presented where. if you read this book in order, then you won't understand anything. the explanations are not to the point. no proper examples have been given to understand the concepts.

my advice: please do not buy this book. Go for any other...
