I got this item on time and I am using it for more than 1 month now. When I plugged it into my Macbook air, the software installed smoothly and works great, just the "Soft Wifi" option is not there for mac, which I think not required for mac.

Hi all, i bought this card seeing others flipkart users opinion and reviews, now its a month and half so i'm writing my xperience about this product :

I have got delivered the product on 1-AUG-2014 and working with it for almost 13 days. Gives a good speed even with BSNL SIM. But guys, don't be confused / mislead with the wi-fi option. It is only a soft wi-fi, means this product uses your laptop's wi-fi port to transmit the wi-fi thorough a software in-built in this device. There are lot of free softwares available in google to enable your laptop's wi-fi port to transmit the internet.

i have purchased this one a few month ago.

the results are pretty good from the very beginning. the network searching takes a bit more time like one or 2 minutes.on 3g it gives the avg speed about 200-700kbps at low network.and at 2g it gives avg 30-150kbps at low network.

when the netwotk is good the speed is 3g- 900 kbps-1.5 mbps and 2g- 120-250kbps


at this price it is the best dongle to have.

Brilliant product from the best data-card company Huawei stable. Installation is very easy and fairly quick..and then surfing net is just a breeze.You can send sms, USSD commands and what's more can call also!!. Each of the operations has a dedicated interface. Add it to the soft-wifi feature and ever-bankable Flipkart delivery..yes you are right..this is surely a WINNER!

Downside- Only thing is it heats up too much after considerable usage. Considering its positives, you can surely ignore...

The product is good for data transmission on 2G & 3G. Also you can make/receive sms/calls directly on your laptop. However, soft wifi doesn't function on your android phones..

I purchased the product so that I can use my data both for laptop & android simultaneously, but it doesn't happen.. so be careful, don't get mislead by "Soft Wi-fi" mentioned on the product... you can buy much cheaper data cards with data & sms/calling facility

Bought it few months ago and continually using it for my work. No problem till now. It also has a data usage tracker, which is not accurate and will show few hundred MB more usage than actual usage., but that should not be a problem.

You can also use it as WiFi hotspot, but the speed is not so great and disconnects frequently when using it as WiFi hotspot. Still recommended.
