The E3121 data card is awesome. Being my first unlocked data card (have used Photon before) I was really skeptical about it.
I first used it with my Vodafone 2G SIM. Speed was just okay. Manageable for basic browsing but video buffering took ages.
Then I inserted Airtel 3G SIM. And WOW !!!.. such amazing speed.. I could watch HD videos on Youtube without any pause !!!

I m Using TATA DOCOMO 2G Sim in it..But it gives me 3G Speed.
Its really irritating when Modem takes approximately 2 minute to load once the Data card is plugged in. But once the Modem screen get appears its work fast.
All operator settings are loaded. No need to worry and you can easily replace any SIM.I Personally tried out with BSNL,UNINOR & TATA DOCOMO.

The product is good. I am using BSNL 3G sim in it. It is so far working good for me. Only issue is the client takes approximately one minute to load once the dongle is plugged in. That time is really irritating. But once the client screen appears things work smooth and fast. Thanks.

Price wise very affordable and reliable.. Its not get heated after use of 3 hours too.

Cons: Start-up connection taking a bit long approx 1 minute.

I recently bought this product. Basically I spent lot of time struggling to find best reviews of data card . My minimum requirement was to get a standard data card which is expected to work on linux .I decided to go for lava , micromax and other brands .
But i changed my decision because even after spending lot of time on google , I was not sure whether the other data card will support linux operating system.

I was already using ZTE mts data card , that was working pretty well on Windows .

But there is no driver like mobile partner for linux os like ubuntu ,fedora etc
other wise this product is prefect with windows, working awsome , sum heating problme are there
but ok, i will appriciate them if they launch any driver for ubuntu.............:)

its very efficient and specially the calling facility ..signal is good.....working very good in 3g networks specially in airtel 3g and reliance 3g ... 2g capacity is also very good while surfing ..but it really does have a heating issue..but ignoring that when plugged in it works really fast ... it was delivered within 7 days though i m living in a rural area ....

the product is awesome except you have a really fast pc and my choice for other users using windows 7 is better try to connect to the internet without installing the software that comes with your modem.

Biggest advice for people from ooty or the surroundings is that if you order things through flipkart ...... your shipping would arriving very slowly. you will receive your parcel more than seven days. its better to pay more and purchase immediately ...
