The Hunger Games / The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is a DVD collection which comprises of the first two installments in The Hunger Games adventure sci-fi film series, i.e., The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, both of which are based on literary works by Suzanne Collins. This series stars Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth (brother of Chris Hemsworth of Thor fame) and Woody Harrelson of True Detective fame. Set in the fictional region of Panem, the storyline of this film series follows a young woman and man who are compelled to participate in a cruel set of fight-to-the-death games that are held yearly so as to serve as a reminder of the repercussions of a rebellion.
