‘You are from India—the land of three hundred and thirty million Gods, and you say you don’t believe in even one of them? I think it’s time to go home, Sid.’ Andrea’s words have been echoing in my head since last night when she poured another round of scotch. I entered God in the Google search bar and of all the places, it directed me to India—a place where I had buried my childhood dream eleven years ago, and moved to New York. I waived God away when I got to New York, and, to be honest, I didn’t need Him either. Until now... Life’s always been a bitch but this time it’s gone too far. I want my money and my company back, and I will find God one way or the other to get my answers. I’ve boarded the flight. Hop on...and yes...carry some scotch along. See you on the other side. Cheers, Sid—Siddharth Khanna

Well written in simple verse,a very good read

Philosophical fiction is a difficult genre to write in, and we didn't have many Indian books in the same. Now we can heartily welcome Shraddha Soni into this genre as she has debuted with a good book.

The protagonist Siddharth Khanna would find many of his likes in this modern world with similar problems and situations. It is his story of redemption - of his life - from the shackles of his own mistakes.

I loved Shraddha's style of writing with simple yet attractive verse. She has a long wa...

    Its different!

There are books which lead you through someone's life and experiences and there are books which preach philosophy. Combining the two and yet retaining the philosophical essence does not come easy. Through this book, Shradhha manages to entwine Sid's life and his journey to find God with some food for thought for all readers. Readers will be able to identify themselves at some or the other stage of Sid's life and that makes this read interesting. This book is definitely recommended for a leisu...

    It truly is LIFE!

When i picked this book to read...it eased me into the world of Sid so smoothly that I did'nt even realize when I stopped being me. Some books you read, while some books read you...I Am Life definitely belongs to the latter category.
We have so many unanswered questions in life, this book doesn't answer them, but gives you hope that you too will find your answers, as long as you really hold on to the questions.
There were some parts of the book that I didn't really get completely, maybe I am ...

    Relish reading !

This book is a testimony to the fact that books have the longest shelf life. The story is gripping , pacy and has strong undercurrent of emotions and philosophy. A genre that is seldom attempted by Indian authors, this book is categorized as "Spiritual/Philosophical fiction".Though the story telling is so powerful, that never at any point the book gets preachy.

Siddharth Khanna , a Newyorker, a lost soul; dejected and depressed about his life, embarks upon a journey to his motherland India....

    An enriching read!

I ordered the book as I was hearing so much about it... from friends, on Twitter, etc. Must say the book has lived up to its hype. It's fast-paced, well written and makes for a great read. It also makes you think about your own life and makes you look at life differently. A gripping story, I am Life is heart warming and heart breaking in equal measure. Go ahead and pick this one.
