    Description

I Have A Dream is a unique collection of twenty inspirational stories of social entrepreneurs who have found creative solutions for old problems.

    Summary Of The Book

I Have A Dream consists of 20 engrossing tales of people who have dedicated their lives for the good of the society. Beginning with the birth and education of these people, their childhood, and the struggles and success of their journey, Rashmi Bansal offers a comprehensive coverage of their lives. Segregated into three sections, the book divides the people into three types, the Rainmakers, the Changemakers and the Spiritual Capitalists.

The first part is dedicated to the Rainmakers. These are the entrepreneurs who earn profits from their work, even though profit is not their sole motive. It has stories like Caste Away, Rags to Riches, Beyond Profit, Weave the People, and Move the Mountains. The second part is dedicated to the Changemakers, who have strived hard to bring about a positive change in others lives. The Scientific Socialist, The Naked Truth, The Art of War, The Girl in the Mirror, Inner Engineering, and Into that Heaven of Freedom are some of the stories in this section.

The third section is titled Spiritual Capitalists and relates to those entrepreneurs who have blended spiritualism with common welfare. It consists of stories like All in the Family, Lead Kindly Light and Soul Food. From India’s first rural BPO to eco-tourism and solar lightings, from Micro-Venture Funding to Sulabh Shauchalayas, the book has stories of prominent personalities like Harish Hande, Dhruv Lakra, Arvind Kejriwal, Shreesh Jadhav, and Bindeshwar Pathak. These people with their big dreams and compelling passion have made a significant difference in the lives of many across India. Bansal, in her wonderful book, pays tribute to these innovative entrepreneurs who continue to inspire many others.

I Have a Dream has won acclaim since its publication in 2011. The book was on the shortlist for The Economist Crossword Popular Award in 2012.

Paper Quality of this book not worth the price

This is my 3rd order from flipkart and was again impressed by the prompt delivery of this book. But this time, the paper quality of the book was not good (smells awful). The same quality book can be easily purchased from roadside vendors for Rs 40-50. So I wont recommend buying book from this publisher.

    Good

Hats off to the author, every single Dreamer in the book. Wherever we are, the best way to develop courage is to set a goal and achieve it, make a promise and keep it~ is the simple message conveyed by the book. It is the best inspirational book I have ever read. After Ayn Rand, Rashmi Bansal is now my second love.

    DISAPPOINTING Book for literature

If you are going for the literature, a terrible buy. Stories are kind of inspiring. But half of the dialogues are in Hindi. Really putting off. Rashmi Bansal sucks. I was fooled by the review so i suggest you dont fall for the same ..

Striking!!!!...Will make you to think what have you done to this society!!!

This book has definitely made me think--- why are we looking towards the west for every answer, when we have the full capability to fight and design a solution????..People have done it in past!!!It is a shame on us that we don't recognize the kind of work we Indians are doing remaining in the country itself..How many of us are actually investing our time to do something for the society???the number is very less!!!..Though we are topping the list in population explosion!!

    This book has brough...

Another Inspirational Blockbuster by Rashmi Bansal

I've read all the three books of Rashmi ji and like her first two books her third one "I have a dream" too is very inspiring and interesting to read. You get to know so many simple people just like us who have challenged the existing set up and are doing a great job on the social aspect serving the vast number of Indians who really need good support. On one hand if we are tired of the corruption, the bad politics, nepotism in our country after reading this book you get some sort of relief tha...
