Our child loves the fantastic creatures and their fancy names. Thoroughly enjoyed the travels of the sleepy elephant. Some ideas are borrowed from other classic kids books (such as from Eric Carle). Nice drawings and text make it a good read.

Brought it for my 3yr old. It's a very nice story and loved the colorful pictures. Very beautifully narrated and keeps the child interested throughout. Through this story children also get to learn about how other animals sleep when Bahadur, the baby elephant comes across them. My son absolutely enjoyed the story. A good buy I must say.

The story is great, English is simple and the illustrations are lovely. The best part of this book is that, by the time I finish reading it to my 3 year old he is yawning and ready to fall asleep and that makes my job easier... It's besides the point that I'm half asleep by the time we're done with the story!

My kiddo loves saying I am so sleepy...She can easily associate with the Indian names in the book. Her latest interest being this book she shows it off to all our visitors.............................................................................................................
