I bought this book after my pre-boards, in mid January, 2014. Prior to that, I had been following another textbook (by S.Arora), which practically could not be covered unless you had fhthe required portions highlighted by your teacher (which I did not). I would advise any ICSE student first to study the textbook thoroughly and then buy and read this (awesome) book.
It is certainly a kick-ass book for anyone with a month of time for your boards.
It helped me get a 100 in computer.
I would certainly recommend this book to everyone as it gives everything in a nutshell and is concise, easy to read and understand. (But NEVER forget your textbook as this will work only as a supplement)

The best book for java Programs as well as for theory .Have read many books but this the best and most accurate and the papers and practise questions are very usefull for ICSE boards. The author is also quite famous

This book has travelled in the right direction to impart knowledge to the students who have an alien feel to programming. The concepts of java are nicely put forth in simple yet concise way, without compromsing the examination point of view explanations.

First master all the basics of Java(eg what is polymorphism, functions, constructors etc), and then book this product. This book is really awesome.. I bought it for my ICSE board exam ..as i was not doing very well in my internals. A friend of mine suggested this book and I must say that i made a awesome decision buying it ..It helped me raising my score from 65 in internals to 80,92,95 and finally 100 in boards!!
