    • Badri Raina is a reputed commentator on politics, culture and society. His writings have appeared in nearly all major English dailies and journals in India and his columns on the ZNet website, a selection of which was published in 2012 as a book titled The Underside of Things: India and the World (A Citizen’s Miscellany, 2006-2011), have a global following. His book, Dickens and the Dialectic of Growth, published by the University of Wisconsin Press in 1986 is considered among the ten most regarded commentaries on the nineteenth-century British novelist, Charles Dickens and widely referred to in universities across the world.
