Not sufficient for IFS exam
This book lacks the exact syllabus of IFS. All the information given in this book is too general and doesn't serve the purpose. This can be used only as a basic information guide but this is not sufficient for IFS exam. Not even sure that this can be used for State forest serve exams.

Does not serve the purpose
This book is not for the people who are looking at a one-stop reference for all the requirements in preparation of Indian Forest Service's exams. The contents lack depth and matter and do not suffice the needs of a student as it claims to.
It is a good book if you are looking to get an overview of the subject, but when you prepare for IFoS, that is not what you do.
By the way, there is no book that I know which would serve that purpose either, a combination of different book is required.
