    Excellent guide to Microeconomics

Although, I was not a huge fan of microeconomics, I bought this book simply because of the author (I loved his other book 'Day to Day Economics'.

While this book is not as elementary as the previous book (not as breezy a read), it certainly brought out the beauty of Microeconomics well and made me a fan. Topics like Supply-Demand, Price Theory, Surplus, Perfect Competition, Monopolistic Competition, Oligarchies etc were covered in a fair amount of detail with plenty of mathematical relations...

    Must buy!

This book is too good for understanding the basic economics. Although page quality is not too good , if page quality would be batter it increase the interest of the reader . All over book is easily understable.

    Interesting, but slightly complicated.

A good read for aspiring management students. The book is very well written, but it may not be easy to understand the concepts elaborated in the book without having some prior economics or mathematics background.

The other book written by the same author, 'Day to Day Economics' is comparatively much more generic in nature, but this one is much more focused towards micro-economics concepts.

Overall, the book requires patience for getting a grasp of the interesting theories and concepts. Th...

    Could have been better.

Book starts with concepts like demand and supply, marginal utility, marginal product which are very well explained. Being a novice in economics it got a bit confusing because the examples couldn't do justice with theory being explained. All in all it is a decent book to acquaint yourself with fundamental concepts of microeconomics. One thing is definitely true about this book if read cover to cover properly, everyday jargon of economics wont be a hassle. It'll get pretty easy to relate the te...

Whether you are in business or nor, this is a must have. Whether you have a background in economics or not, this is accessible and informative. I don't see why any literate person would not want to read this.

    Worth Reading

For Beginners it is a very good book which deals with the basics of finance. Some real life examples are very interesting and we can easily co-relate the content with our day to day life. But if you had studied industrial management in your college then please do not buy it,because you will not find anything new in this book. For people who are new to finance go for it.
