The book contains, perhaps, the most humorous play of all time. There are quite a lot of characters and confusion- which is Wilde’s trademarks, after all- and a really satisfying end. The dialogues are perfectly charming. The plot gets pretty complex, while the humor-quotient remains intact at all times.

By far the most popular work of Oscar Wilde, but not up to the brilliance of Dorian Gray. It still is an intelligent and light hearted book. Thank you Oscar Wilde for being awesome!

If for nothing else, you should read this for the sheer wit and humour that Wilde achieves to write the play with. It might initially come across as being silly and simple, but the moment you begin to re-read every line and think, you will know exactly why the play is considered as one of the finest satirical comedies that have ever been written in English literature.

I must confess I had never read Oscar Wilde before. But this play...changes that and now i am on the lookout for more of his plays. I had bought this book and had completed reading it.It is actually a play (drama)like story.At first I thought it was a self-help book but its a play.You can read it within few hours.It is not a "SELF-HELP" book.I wish the paper quality of the book was good.Anyways,its a good read!
