Summary Of The Book
In the book, In The Name of Love: Rest in Peace, Nitya Prakash introduces the readers to Kabir Garg, who is a secret agent employed by the organisation Trailblazer. Trailblazer is a unique club of rich men who are driven by the altruistic ambition of saving the world from all kinds of evil. But for all its altruism, Trailblazer is Machiavellian as the end justifies the means.
The organization will do anything required in order to maintain international peace and destroy evil. It has key people in high positions in governments across the world. When it is unable to win the loyalty of people to its cause, Trailblazer is not above bribing or coercing people to get information because the organization believes that all is good if the end result is the destruction of evil.
Kabir Garg is one of the premier agents of the organisation. He is clever, complicated, and deadly efficient. Like all good secret agents, he also has a romantic side to him and his affair with the beautiful Gitanjali forms an important track in the story.
The members of Trailblazer are worried about the impact of an anthrax attack on the world. Their worries deepen when they receive information that their evil enemy has developed a formula that would provide only them with complete immunity from the disease. This could disturb the balance of power and spark off a world war. Agent Kabir Garg is given the task of obtaining the formula and sharing it with the world, thus restoring the balance of power.
In order to get the formula, Kabir Garg befriends the enemy, enters his home, and enjoys his hospitality.
Having won his friendship, will Kabir Garg now be able to plunge the knife?
Prakash takes us further into the story where Kabir is trying to kill the enemy, according to the task given to him by the Trailblazers.
