In The Name of Love: Rest in Peace is a thriller in which a secret service agent is involved in a fight to save humanity even as the threat of biological warfare looms large.

    Summary Of The Book

In the book, In The Name of Love: Rest in Peace, Nitya Prakash introduces the readers to Kabir Garg, who is a secret agent employed by the organisation Trailblazer. Trailblazer is a unique club of rich men who are driven by the altruistic ambition of saving the world from all kinds of evil. But for all its altruism, Trailblazer is Machiavellian as the end justifies the means.

The organization will do anything required in order to maintain international peace and destroy evil. It has key people in high positions in governments across the world. When it is unable to win the loyalty of people to its cause, Trailblazer is not above bribing or coercing people to get information because the organization believes that all is good if the end result is the destruction of evil.

Kabir Garg is one of the premier agents of the organisation. He is clever, complicated, and deadly efficient. Like all good secret agents, he also has a romantic side to him and his affair with the beautiful Gitanjali forms an important track in the story.

The members of Trailblazer are worried about the impact of an anthrax attack on the world. Their worries deepen when they receive information that their evil enemy has developed a formula that would provide only them with complete immunity from the disease. This could disturb the balance of power and spark off a world war. Agent Kabir Garg is given the task of obtaining the formula and sharing it with the world, thus restoring the balance of power.

In order to get the formula, Kabir Garg befriends the enemy, enters his home, and enjoys his hospitality.

Having won his friendship, will Kabir Garg now be able to plunge the knife?

Prakash takes us further into the story where Kabir is trying to kill the enemy, according to the task given to him by the Trailblazers.

    Quick, racy read

Although not my favorite genre, I've put myself through quite a few thrillers and hard as I try to reason with James Patterson's ridiculously outlandish but impactful plots, Grisham and Charles Cumming have won me over.

Johny Gone Down by Karan Bajaj is the only thriller I've read by an Indian author. To further that staggering count, In the name of Love, R.I.P. by Nitya Prakash, an espionage drama, has been duly added to the mix. I must admit, the title threw me off initially. Not your typ...

A fine blend of mystery and thriller...

A fine blend of mystery and thriller is what this book is all about.

No, it’s not the same chick lit romance which happens to come in the market every now and then.

It is a believable story unfolding at breakneck pace, with persuasive settings and just the right blend of amiable and detestable characters. This polished amalgam of intrigue and action from the bestselling novel ‘Dear I Hate You’ surprised me (in a positive way).

Meet Agent Kabir Garg – The main character who is clever, co...

    A real page turner

In the Name of Love was my first Nitya Prakash mystery, but won't be my last. You will be inexorably drawn into the world of Trailblazer agent Kabir Garg, an unlikely protagonist with a tendency to shake at the worst possible moment. The characters are compelling and the plot twists will keep you turning the pages through to the satisfying end. A warning to all true detective fans, you will not be able to stop. I am eagerly waiting for its sequel, and since consuming that in an afternoon, am h...

Trailblazer- CBI need lessons from you!!

This is a thriller novel. The author has done a superb job in balancing suspense elements with romance so well that both elements blend together seamlessly.Agent Kabir's effort to unveil the suspense coexist with the romance between him & Gitanjali & both elements develop at the same time.
Everytime I opened the book,I ended up playing the "just one more chapter" game over & over again.
Author's hallmark is his perfect description of his characters. His imagination runs wild.Like the physical d...
