This happens not only in India but across the world, and they end up having serious implications on the ecological balance. Bahar Dutt tries to find a balance between our inevitable growth in terms of economy and conserving wild life and other environmental factors to avoid a looming catastrophe. Green Wars goes beyond the pomposity of the TV debates, with its sharp, well-researched genuine concern. Dutt also recalls some of the most exciting and poignant moments from her journey. She explains how many creatures face an unsteady future due to reckless human activities.

About Bahar Dutt

Bahar Dutt is a conservation biologist by training. She is a famous wildlife journalist who has run an animal ambulance for wounded primates. Bahar has been involved in various initiatives including studying a troop of Amazonian monkeys at the world famous Jersey Zoo and building rope bridges for the Colobus monkey in Africa. She has also worked for more than ten years with an old community of snake charmers. But what she is best known for is her TV journalism which has taken her places far and wide. She currently lives in New Delhi.
