The books deals into THE neglected aspect of Indian Economy: The unorganised sector. One gets a feeling that it is more a collection of essays, than a book with a unified theme.

Chapter on Non-Banking Financial Sector is insightful & questions our blind acceptance of western system of credit & financing.
The chapters on Bollywood & BCCI document the word of mouth wisdom.
One can empathize with his distrust on Trusts & NGO sector but I wish a deeper study.

Really this was a good read. Facts are analysed in a simple, effective manner. Wonder why our planners (including eminent economists holding high positions in India) are blind to these facts.
