The book lacks some important topics like :
1) Qualitative monetary policy tools e.g moral suation, credit rationing, etc
2) Various socio-economic indices e.g Multidimensional poverty index, World Happiness index, Gender inequality undex, global hunger index, etc
And the quality of the pages has been compromised.
But overall the content is comprehensive, well organised, updated and illustrated with examples, flowcharts, diagram, facts, figures and graphs with a very few mistakes.

Wonderful
I am honestly writing this review. Those who wanna understand and learn economics, I would say you must have it because it is written in very simple language in a systematic way(which concept should be learnt first) and in almost every topic or concept the author trying to illustrate with practical examples. I am not saying that this is the best book in Indian economy for upsc. But yes this book will develop your basic concepts in economy.
