    concept builder

i think my comment will be useful for all those who buy a book based on reviews for UPSC(CSE) prep so first of all this book should be the first priority for any non-economic background student and also for those who only want to learn economy for GS part only
this book is best to start but little less to end with
NCERT(11th n 12th) and also RAMESH SINGH'S -INDIAN ECONOMY must also be used to finish this subject for INDIAN ECONOMY part of GS.

mr.sanjeev verma takes class on economy in vajiram and ravi...his book is more like attending a class then just a good book..this book will certainly clear most of the doubt you might be struggling with after studing many books or doing claases..the chapters on GDP, FDI,FII,Money market are excellent...however some of the chapters are not comprehensive...good for those who wants to get conceptual clearity..
