I think since Mr.Dutt & Mr.Sundaram have passed away, the successive editors of this book have paid no heed to update the contents of this book appropriately and are publishing it repeatedly with the same old story with just a few new topics. Even major topics like money markets, Indian financial system, etc. have captured figures only till 2007-08.

I request the readers to go for other books like Uma Kapila or Ramsh Singh(if you need a comprehensive approach) but do not spend money on this ...

book is amazing..but it will be useful to include the recent economic survey data as separate section

I ordered this book at Rs. 789, which is no less. When, I received it, many important pages were missing. I know, there is a return policy. Since, I had some important exam coming up, so could not return, but had to manage with it.
Anyways, I guess that is the advantage the sellers take by selling to those who have TIME CONSTRAINTS. I hope they succeed in selling most of it these ways.
And BRAVO to S CHAND PUBLICATIONS which outsourced these to professionals like these. These defected copies...
