Good Food Wisdom???

Frankly, I have not read any of rujuta diwekars books and hence expected a lot from this dvd considering her reputation.
But I was disappointed....not because there are no substantial takeaways from this dvd, but because it has transformed itself on being a glorification of Ms Diwekar and virtues of her diet plan with only a small handout with the dvd of a suggested diet plan.

Excellent work by Rujuta completely an eye opener for today's generation

This is excellent work by Rujuta, I would recommend this is a must watch for everyone. Good buy for first timers

I have read all of her earlier books, and this dvd serves as an extension of her philosophy. For those who follow her lifestyle plan as she has explained in her books, this dvd doesn't offer that many new insights as one might expect from the dvd title.

Simple and Direct

I had read her book ( Dont Lose Your Mind Lose Your Weight) which I found to be informative and amusing. Rujuta has a simple and honest style of writing. Hence was interested in seeing the DVD as well. The DVD talks about eating right (not dieting) and how Indian food helps us to maintain good health. Its a good watch.

Worth buying and sharing too!

I read her books but I was totally motivated to follow only after watching this DVD. How to stick to our traditional food, never give up on anything but still be healthy, loose weight and even gain weight. Satisfaction is the end product.

Excellent DVD !

I have been a fan of Rujuta since her first book. She just talks a lot of sense and gives real food wisdom.

Her audio book (women and weightloss tamasha) was a brave adventure on her part and there were some real gems in there.

Good effort to blend the importance of traditional foods to weight loss

I have read Rujuta's "Don't loose your mind, loose your weight" when I was 94kgs and that led to a conscious effort to change my food habits. With in 3 months of that, I came to 89 and in another 2 months i came to 84. May be I will soon come to my ideal weight (80).

Best advice on staying healthy

An excellent film by Rujuta espousing the wealth of knowledge locked in our traditions and culture. The sections on counting pranic value vs calories and our food combinations are especially noteworthy. 5 stars for presenting so much information in a simplified and believable way.

Insightful!

I have read the last two books written by RD and I must say, I am not disappointed at all. I have suggested the books to so many friends and intend to do the same with the dvd as well.

Good Info but I don't think Kareena followed this

The information on this is great. Stick to your roots, eat closer to home and genes as much as possible and eat in silence, stuff that your granny taught you but you were too busy indulging in her food than listening.

But, I don't think one can 'lose weight' using these principles. They're difficult to follow given the urban life. Can be practised in an ideal world where you come home by 7 pm.

Nice info none the less. Someday I will use the knowledge from this video. Someday!
