Indian Mammals: A Field Guide, by Vivek Menon, brings you a visually informative collection of more than 400 mammals in India.
Summary of the Book
India is blessed with a wide and magnificent variety of wildlife. Among them, mammals contribute to a great extent to the diversity. An exhaustive collection of all these mammals, not only documenting them in words but connecting them with relevant pictures, was something that was long due. Vivek Menon has delivered exactly that in Indian Mammals. With brilliant illustrations and exquisite pictures, this book comprehensively looks into the wild habitat, their inter-species behaviour, conservation situation, food habits, internal migration, and territorial characteristics of these mammals. An invaluable contribution from 30 field biologists and approved by esteemed experts have added the much-needed authentication touch to the work as well.
