Pleasant and pacy read

Adite has introduced new themes. The book has a lot of romance and drama. There is revenge, corporate theft, manipulations, the insecurities of the rich and the famous, the hidden agendas behind their lavish lifestyles. But overall, the romance and the love feel is the winner. Love can conquer all and that it does.

The Lavender Rose project is an innovative theme. But the Indian concept of destiny's child and providence must intervene has also stood strong. The book can be a good Bollywood...

Dancing with the enemy

This story is much much different from the book I have read from Mills n Boons. This is one of the book u never know what is going to happen next.

Maya is now my one of the fav, she is independent, smart, with very unfair past n life n man she is buring to get revenge with KD Dev, krish's father.

Krish, first I thought he a rich brat, play boy, stone heart n have no other work to do, but he is not like that.

Easy breezy afternoon read.

The one thing in the book that I personally loved (and no one has mentioned in previous reviews, or I think not) was that Maya's a dancer. I am a dancer myself and have recently taken up Latin Dancing as a dance sport, so these lines of Maya's...
"She strapped on her dance shoes... As the music flowed...her mind began to relax and her body moved to the pulsating beat..." called to my dancing heart.

A fantastic read

I am a huge fan of love stories, and The Indian Tycoon's Marriage Deal was an amazing one. I could almost visualize the whole story. Waiting for a Bollywood version of this book. Romantic movie lovers like me would adore the story.Looking forward to some more awesome stories from the author. Cheers

A good read

The book has been quite refreshing bringing back memories of the teenage days.It carried the essence of light-hearted entertainment till the end and provided a relief from straight-jacket life of the racing world. It deals with real life characters placed in a world of fantasy which is very endearing to us,especially in our trouble-torn daily life. It has a good resemblance to Mills and Boon books by western authors.

A Marriage Deal Worth Making....

I've been reading Harlequin's or Mills & Boone's as they're called in India since I was 14. Of course, I went to reading more serious books in the intervening years. The start of Indian Authors brought me back to Mills & Boone. I can say after the bland and boring one by Banan, the next one I read was The Indian Tycoon's Marriage Deal by Ms. Banerjie. What a lovely surprise! You will fall in love with Krish a man who wants to carve out his own identity and want to root for Maya, who want...

Match made in heaven!

I am not a great fan of love stories, especially the Mills and Boons kind. So when my friend recommended this book to me I was sure I wouldn't like it. I was in for a pleasant surprise. This book is more than just a love story. It has lots of emotion and family drama and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Just like a Hindi movie romance!!

I am a Hindi movie buff and I love those sweeping romantic tales. This book, with its lavish settings and happily ever after storyline had me swooning all the way. Highly recommended.

Fun read!

TITMD, as somebody else has nicknamed it, is a well plotted story. Maya is young and innocent but determined. Krish comes across as a sweetheart. Their paths cross; both intend to use each other for their own ulterior purposes, and start by getting married, all being fair in love and war! The heat between the characters is great. Must read!
