Author Info | - My name is Nandana Suresh and I am a village girl from a typical middle-class family in Kerala. I am doing a degree course at NSS Neeramankara College, Thiruvananthapuram. My father, Suresh Kumar, runs a saloon. My mother, Bindu G, is a devoted and caring homemaker. My sister, Gopika Suresh, works as a social media manager in an NGO.
Before three years, I had a challenging and ambitious dream. I want to introduce a band in India that can compete with the world’s best and even create new records, ultimately rewriting history. Living in this era, I am sure most of you have heard about international music bands like BTS, BLACKPINK, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, etc. and you must be aware of their influence, especially BTS, in today’s Indian youth. Drawing inspiration from them, I have been planning and working hard to make my dream come true.
However, it is not possible without visible support from an Indian music company. We have Sony Music, T-Series, Universal Music India, Times Music and all, so why cannot we go for such a plan? Why do we have to limit ourselves to the conventional and stereotypical norms of our society and the Indian music industry? Why cannot we explore new genres and styles of music that can appeal to the global audience?
Never in a million years, I thought I would hold a pen to construct this book but I had to, nevertheless. This book is my attempt to share my vision and passion with the world. It is also my plea to the Indian music industry to recognize and nurture the potential of Indian youth who have the talent and the courage to pursue their dreams.
In conclusion, I hope this book will reach the right hands. I hope it will inspire and motivate others who have similar dreams. I hope it will pave the way for an exciting new era of Indian music.
