Ravjeetsingh Atwal is doctoral fellow in the Department of Political Science, Gujarat University. His doctoral research is on US strategic interference in West Asia and India's position: A study from 1984-2004 for which he was awarded ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship. His area of interest includes India's Foreign Policy and theories of International Relations. He has presented many papers in national and international conferences and has authored many articles in research journals. He is member of editorial boards in many of the international journals and academic bodies. His area of specialization is International Relations. He also has an M.Phil degree in Indian Diaspora. He has authored a book, Gadar Party in North America: Genesis of the Insurrection to Unshackle India from the British Raj.
