This book is one of the best for Industrial Robotics. It provides A - Z details on the subject and is well suited for Industrial Engineering students. Topics like Robot programming, AI and the relevance of it in Automation has been explained lucidly. However the mechanical aspects of robots are not explained exhaustively (since it is directed towards Industrial Engg). Overall its a very good book on the subject.

Some dark side about this overrated book. This is not in SI Units though its well mentioned to be Special Indian Edition(SIE) just for the lesser price. The diagrams are photographic images, so it will make you gather some patience on drawing it. No elaborate programming is solved for whom the book is written. Some 50 codes are given which can be found easily on any website. It contains information but not for any student or first leaner. A *handbook* is also far better than this. Better to g...

I have used this book to study Robotics for my exam. This book is an excellent book to study robotics from the basics... the language used in the book is simple, clear and crisp so easily understandable... And the book is not overloaded too...

I searched for the same book at various online book sellers. Most of them were priced at Rs.450 or higher. At flipkart i saw it at discounted price of Rs.390. Additionally, there was an additional 10% promotional discount, if the total was above Rs.750. So i called my class mate and informed about the offer. He agreed and i went for 2 quantities. when i brought i did not notice entire pages in the book.when the exams came i found that some pages are not printed(around 40 pages). so check the pages when you purchases and return it soon.
FLIPKART is doing with all the book, even my friend had same problem with some other books
