K5 is a 4k 1080p dash camera with front and back camera, with the dvr inbuilt into the front camera unlike the k3 where the dvr is separate. Both k5 and k3 are IP67 water resistant and can be used in rain , water was etc. However we recommend some precaution such as closing the memory card door (with two screws) together slowly rather that tightening one fully then the other.
