Being a person involved with Architecture and Designing, i greatly require a power house PC where i can do a lot of parametric forms and renderings using engines which require exceptional resources. I therefore would any day choose this Processor which has more number of cores than having higher frequency cores and lesser in number, for only gaming purpose, i'd recommend a core i7 4770k over this as the later is comparatively cheap and delivers higher performance for its price. Very Happy wit the delivery...The product is running great have a dual boot Hackintosh with Windows 8.1 and i am glad to say this product even though 6 cores as compared to the 8 cores is just superb i hardly do any 4K rendering to own an 8 Core..so this fits perfect for any of my daily and gaming needs.

Well,its good to have this High end processor from Intel,But pls be aware customers the info which you can see is not complete.it may be a incomplete info from Flipkart.

The actual Socket type is LGA 2011-3 and it supports DDR-4 Ram upto 2133 MHz only.

PLs also do take care of the info the mother board appropriate for this socket type must be x-99 chipset .

No doubt this product is monster and hexa core with 3.5 Ghz is amazingly fast.
