Well it is indeed a q9550. At first, it seemed a bit overpriced but since it has become difficult finding these in Indian market Its not that bad of a price, Definitely a better choice than Q6600. Also thanks to the seller for still importing LGA 775 processors in 2020.

Yes, it is working fine with my MSI G41M-P28 Motherboard though it took a while to solve the boot error. Now the machine is running faster than the Q8400 CPU.
