India with its rich heritage has been a major destination for education since time immemorial. Universities such as Nalanda, Takshashila were
the source of knowledge since ancient times. With the advent of modern education system came in the concept of globalisation. The National
Education Policy 2020 outlines the need for Internationalisation and gives importance to global education. With the framing of new guidelines for setting up of International University campuses in India, our country has now forayed into the global education space while keeping its rich heritage intact. This book is an attempt to outline Internationalisation of Higher education and the need for Internationalisation in the present scenario.
