    Summary Of The Book

Psychology is a subject that has many practical applications, besides those put to use by therapists. It is useful in everyday life, in interactions with family, friends, co-workers. This book, Psychology: A Graphic Guide To Your Mind And Behaviour, can therefore be useful to everyone, regardless of their profession.

Psychology deals with the mind and behavior of humans. It studies human behaviour and reactions to various situations, and helps profile a person's character, and their fundamental state of mind. It is a subject that can help people understand their fellow humans as they interact with them.

Psychology studies normal as well as abnormal behaviour. It helps people understand what motivates a person's emotions and attitudes, the factors that helped shape their character and behavior. As such, it is a practical subject that can help people in their dealings with others.

Psychology: A Graphic Guide To Your Mind And Behaviour is a book intended for non-professionals as well as students of psychology. The book covers the fundamentals of psychology, and also covers other related questions like how psychology is related to, and at the same time is different from, psychiatry and psychotherapy.

The book first answers some pretty basic questions like What is psychology, When did this particular branch of human study begin, How it evolved etc. The book goes into various aspects of the subject, including its many specialized branches, and also the important personalities who helped shape the science.

It also covers the subdivisions and applications of the subject. It covers special fields of applications of psychology like Social Psychology, Psychoanalysis, and Developmental Psychology.

The book also covers special fields of study within this discipline like Humanism, Bio-Psychology, Comparative Psychology, Behaviorism, Introspection, and Cognitive Psychology. It clearly covers all these concepts and shows their practical use.

It is part of a series of introductory graphical guides on various subjects. It is in the format of a graphical novel, only that instead of fiction, the book uses this format to explain a field of science - the study of human behavior and the human mind.

The book also discusses various people who played an important role in the development of this discipline of study. The book covers the contribution of people like Freud, Bandura, Pavlov, Piaget, Skinner, Bowlby, Rogers and Maslow. It also discusses the contributions of less famous personalities.

This book covers the subject of psychology thoroughly, helping the reader gain a good understanding of the concepts and principles, and their real life applications.
