Good reference book for students of edX.
Though, Anyone should not order this if they want to learn python from scratch. Otherwise it's pretty good both for referencing python and object oriented programming. Clears out basics very neatly and of course, being authored by an MIT professor has other advantages.

To learn basic fundamentals of programming you can go through this book. I used it when I attended the course in Edx.

The book was delivered promptly!

It seems like a good book for a first course in scientific computing. It also introduces
some ideas from computer science. Might be difficult to follow without a teacher.

Plan to use this for a course I am going to teach next semester.
