The book explains the constitution of india in a brief. However every thing has been covered and nothing has been left out.I personally prefer this to those people who are curious to know about their constitution and want to know about their fundamental rights.In fact the book seemed very interesting to a layman like me.

its a good book for understanding the constitution of India.And it is very helpful in my civils preparation.I suggest this is the essential book to whom interested to prepare for civils.book paper quality was also nice.

Although the compilation of this book is very nice but the language is quite intense. It therefore requires more concentration than average. Further, i would like to recommend this Book for all the civil service aspirants.

This book is an ideal book to know most of the things about our constitution.It contains all info except IT Act and some other important changes made in few years. So it is Ideal book for civil exams but not a good option for people searching for cyber law and IT Act related information.

This book is all time best for having basic ideas on indian constitution, its described so precisely that it will create anxiety about whats next. Apart this, most importantly this is a fusion of Public Admn & Constitution..How all the system goes according to the constitution is beautifully described. Everyone must read irrespective of anything.

This book is an ideal book to know everything about your constitution.It is a must read for all civil service aspirants since it contains all info that is required for prelims and mains and also the small book size gives a psycological advantage.

At first I was hesitant to pick up the book as looked too specialized in content for a person with no knowledge of Constitution.Firstly, I finished reading NCERTs and then took this up. I must say one shouldn't get fooled by the minute font of the book as this book is a WONDERFUL AND EASY READ. It gives just the right detail that one requires without going into unnecessary details. No doubt, Dr. Basu is the master of his subject!!
