Awesome self-study book !!

I purchased this book recently and I am extremely happy with it.
This book is great for self-study in electromagnetism. However, a moderate amount of mathematical preparation is required (more than grade 12).
The book is written somewhat like a lecture and will remind readers of the style of The Feynman Lectures series. All topics are lucidly explained and the emphasis is placed on the understanding on concepts rather than a mathematically rigorous treatment of electromagnetism.
The book is ...

Nice

1. Page quality is not that good as it is economical comparison to original book.
2. Language and signs of mathematics terms little different.
3. Binding of book is not good as it can be torn out
easily.
4. Overall if you want to read it for a semester , then go for it.

Real Electrodynamics

there have been plenty of books on this topic but,it's worth mentioning this book on this topic.believe me friends, the way Griffiths teaches us electrodynamics,is dynamic.he has used informal language that won't scary you and you'd feel u're interacting with your teacher as your friend and the topics are arranged in a manner which fulfills the requirement.it's not like any creepy indian authoured books, which don't even care to deal with the critical explanations.it reaches to the ultimate lev...

Good Book for Undergraduate Study

Another nice book again by David Griffiths. The language is very simple and informal. I think the biggest plus point of this book is that the most fundamental concepts are explained in early chapters and then the rest half of the book is just wide application of these concepts. This is a rather unconventional presentation which may turn out to be very useful to people. Loaded with good questions and exercises this book is very good for introductory course. A must-have.
