The text tries to create intuition in the reader about the topic which really helps understanding the topics. The contents are written in such a way that it easily gets into one understanding even he/she is not concentrating well in the subjects. The flow is nice; each concepts is followed by examples and then exercises. This is one the main advantages of the book. Another advantage is the size. I strongly recommend this book as a standard text-book for graduation studies on the subject.

This book deals with automata theory (and other concepts) in great detail. The presentation is lucid as it comes in two colours- black and blue. It promotes great a room for creativity and innovation and is very well explained.
