This is a good book. However, we find it a bit amusing as to why "with R" is a part of the title. There are so many problems and theories that can be neatly illustrated using R, especially for probability and stochastic process. The book, content wise, receives 3 stars. One star is deleted for the lack of comprehensive R coverage. In fact you can go through quite a few chapters which do not have any R code at all.
