buy the other version which costs 600 approx.

I am BHU student and physics sem 5 student,bought this book by mistake,though it is good but very much of syllabus and topics are missing,book is fine but wont match the syllabus,buy if you are curious.ELSE prefer the 488 page edition worth 600.

Up to previous version this book had essence of teaching quantum mechanics. But in this one it is suppose that the publishers are in hurry to lower there making costs and they totally omitted the 'Afterward' and the 'Appendix' parts, which was attractive to the further interested learners. Whatever, the overall basic required chapters are as they was, so still helpful to students.

Good starter book on Quantum Mechanics but mine came with pages missing

This is a good introductory book in Quantum Mechanics which is easy to read and follow.

Unfortunately, my copy came with pages 269-284 missing from the book while pages 253-268 were duplicated twice. I only noticed it after two months and now it can't be replaced due to seller's policy. I guess I have to flip through all pages in the future as soon as I receive it!!

Fake book

he Quantum Mechanics book by David J. Griffiths (second edition, Pearson), available recently in market all over the country and also sold by Flipkart as well as other vendors online/offline are mostly FAKE. It is full of mistakes starting from the very first page! The manuscript writer doesn’t know how to write some common notations including the reduced Planck’s constant (hbar) and the bra-ket notations.
