Author Info | - ‘Muddu Thirthahalli’ is a Kannada and Konkani writer from Karnataka. She started writing at a very young age, and she published her first book when she was seven years old. She is currently practicing as a lawyer at Karnataka High Court. She has published seven books in Kannada and Konkani so far. Hoo Goncahlu (Poetry and Stories, 2006), Kaanana Kalarava (Poetry, 2008), Eshtu Bannada Irulu (Poetry, 2010), Ondu Chandrana Tundu (Essays, 2011), Kaada Haadiya Hoogalu (Novel, 2013), Kshamisalaaguvudilla Kshamisi (Poetry, 2018), and Thirthahalli Post (Compilation of Columns, 2021). A movie titled ‘Kaada Haadiya Hoogalu’ based on her novel was released in 2014. In 2007, when she was eight years old, she launched her own handwritten magazine, ‘Mandanila’. The magazine had been issued for seven years. She is a columnist for different newspapers, magazines, and web portals in Karnataka. She has been writing columns for the past 10 years in Konkani for the magazine ‘Naman Ballok Jezu’ since 2014.
