A book written by a topper
The book can be helpful to students who wish to specialize in Water Resources engg/ Irrigation engg at PG level. It clears all basics and has adequate numericals, both solved & unsolved. The only drawback of the book for undergrad students is that the book is too big and content reproduction in exams can be an uphill task. It is advisable to keep the syllabus copy handy to aviod unnecessary deviations in unwanted details.

Indipensible for Civil engineering

Needs a lot of time but worth the time !
Very good book, very well written and organised.
Probably will take couple of weeks to properly go through the whole book.
Best of all at the end of each chapter many questions appeared in past competitive exams (ESE, GATE) were given which is a huge perk.
