The book is basically meant for polytechnic students, however it can be of tremendous help to even undergraduate degree students when they have the subject in either pre-final or final year. The book is quite handy(less than 350 pages) unlike other big books (by S.K.Garg. P.N.Modi or B.C.Punmia) on the subject which becomes helpful while revising for the viva-voce examinations. Mind-blowing purchase

Book is easy to read and understand thanks to its illustrative drawings. This book is written as per the syllabus of Diploma Civil Engineering. Best book for Irrigation Engineering (book written by S K Garg is next to it.
