I understand my review is biased as I've recently got to know this author personally and very well. Still, as a beta reader for her works, I can confidently say that this author knows her characters well. I simply love A and A and...I'm trying to convince the author to write a short story about them.

It's your move, Wordfreak! -Keeping in mind, this is the first book of the author, its full of wit, and an abiding understanding and affection of the game, Scrabble. Which has made her characters come alive ! She has created a story which is contemporary and fresh.

It has been ages since I read a romance book and It's your move, Wordfreak! was an interesting choice to break away from my fiction readings of the past 20 odd years! And I have to say, the book did not disappoint - not in the writing style, the humour and the pace. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I do hope we get to read more of this author in time to come..

Extremely mushy book with a totally predictable storyline and "standard formula" packaging -- good looking characters, glamorous work profiles, love at first sight, loads of mush and s*x, dash of humor, more s*x, ghosts from the past, fights, male ego, and did I say s*x? In short, your regular teenage romance "love-hate-love" kind of story.
