Jacquard Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments are exceptionally fine powdered mica pigments that are non-toxic, inert, and can be mixed into virtually any viscous, transparent medium and applied to any surface. The different particle sizes produce different effects, from a smooth pearly lustre, to a highly metallic sheen. Pearl Ex is extremely lightfast and stable and will never tarnish or fade. This versatile mica pigments can be incorporated into acrylics, oils, printing inks, encaustics, alcohol inks, epoxy, glues, casting resins, clay, varnishes etc. for application on any surface. Mix with artist colour for metallic sheens to pearlescent shimmers to all manner of faux finishes. Pearl Ex pigments can be mixed with Gum Arabic and water to create a gorgeous metallic calligraphy ink that shines on both light and dark papers.
