I have noticed a foul smell too but it washes out
Wash it 7-8 times just to be sure

Terrible product
Better don't buy this. It's causing indigestion for me. And also have some strange white substance on it when its washed. The water turns into milkish white. I don't recommend this product. Especially for those with a sensitive gut
