A good night's sleep has the capability to make the next day more productive. The UP3 is designed to track and analyse your sleep patterns, automatically measuring Deep, Light, and REM sleep, to give you useful tips on how getting enough deep sleep.
The band also doubles as a personal trainer as you start wearing it regularly. It will draw useful insights from your daily activities, and, with the help of its advanced algorithms, coach you to make healthier life choices along the way.
Equipped with a tri-axis accelerometer, the UP3 tracker will tell you how much you have walked or jogged, and the precise amount of calories that you have burnt by gauging the intensity of your workout. This helps you in altering your workout regime and reaching the desired fitness goal faster.
The UP App also tells you the nutritional value of your daily meals. You can get your Food Score by uploading a picture of the meal, or by selecting the dish from the list of thousands of restaurants whose menus are included in the app.
The bioimpedance sensors in the tracker monitor the ups and downs in your pulse rate and show both the resting- and passive-heart rates on the UP App. An understanding of your heart rate will help you monitor your daily activities and improve your life choices accordingly.
This is a Bluetooth-enabled tracker that can be synced with most Android and Apple devices.
One full charge of the Li-ion battery will keep the band functioning to its full capacity for a period of 7 days. The device comes with a USB charger that can be plugged into a computer or into a standard USB wall adapter. The battery takes up to 90 minutes to charge completely.
