The protagonist travels from Paris all the way to the holy city of Varanasi along the river Ganga from its source. On the way he falls in love with a prostitute who brings out the writer's deepest memories of a past lover. A flawed story, poor directorial execution and not so good acting make this an avoidable movie. Good cinematography is the only reason to consider buying this DVD.
Jaya Ganga is a 1997 international film made by Paris-based Indian writer, film maker and screenplay writer Vijay Singh. The film stars Asil Rais and Smriti Mishra as leads. The plot is all about a fantasy. Also there are slight touches of nudity. The DVD is of good quality and worth buying.
