Humor like never before- You would die with the wits of Jeeves and the heart of the Woosters-Written by a true genius that you will marvel at throughout your life

A collection of books that embodies various incidents that happens in the life of a helpless rich young man man called Bertam Wooster(Also half witted and good heart-ed) and his witty butler called Jeeves (Who could have been the prime minister of England if he wished).

Written by a genius , these novels cracks you up not with its jokes (as often is wrongly perceived as humor) but by the very story line, by the characters you will love all your life, by the extensive plots that resembles ...

Books - Masterpiece , THIS EDITION : DISASTER!

I needn't praise a Wodehouse. There are no words that can gauge the genius of this master. Every page is a delight, and reading them is a pleasure.
So, Bertie and Jeeves are back! Those acquainted with the peculiar duo will know the dynamics - the rest, you'll have to find out. Jeeves amazed me as usual, Bertie frustrated and amused me. In some books we see a more firm side of Bertie - I wish that had not been downplayed. Anyway, the books are HILARIOUS and will make breathing an effort - you...

Wonderful Wodehouse

Jeeves is simply awesome, amazing, superb and what not. These (including the ones in the second Collection) are a perfect companion when you want to relax. And I think the best way to enjoy Jeeves is to read the stories in chronological order. This is because almost all of the stories refer to previous events.
And this is where Arrow/Random House gets my goat. The books in each set is NOT in chronological order. So if you want to enjoy the stories to the hilt, you would need to buy both the v...

Masterpiece

Fantastic collection of stories. The only drawback is that they are not chronologically arranged. I'd recommend you buy both the sets, and then set them in chronological order to truly enjoy Wodehouse's masterpiece. That's exactly what I did.

Magical!!

Not Harry Potter, but nevertheless Wodehouse's world around Jeeves seems no less magical. Every time the situation seems desperate and options seems to fade even to the reader, the Genius Jeeves comes up with a solution "based on the psychology of the individual" so obviously simple that you have to laugh out loud....often at the cost of poor Mr. Barty Wooster. Best comedy put to paper.

Amazing collection

I feel it was a win-win situation for me. The collection and the paper quality of the novels was worth the price. I am happy to add these in my little library.

I am too old for this

Witty, classic, serves both as short stories and a novel but only problem is very repeatitive and predictable, and probably would have enjoyed it much more if I were in my early twenties or late teens. Only way to read the whole collection is 2-3 book a year.

Great Books for Great Price

WHAT HO! Go for it with closed eyes, for both set 1 and set 2.

If you buy these books individually, it will cost you nearly Rs 3500 (250*14), whereas now (after discount) you get them for Rs 2500 (approx).

Guess I don't need to say anything about Wodehouse.

N. B. The stars are for the physical quality of the books, not for their content quality.
