I will say this is one of the best ever novels i have read.... Well plotted story told in a beautiful, intriguing and thrilling manner....

I have to agree when people say that this book is Jeffery Archer at his best! Its a medium paced book, and the story is just right. This book is a story of how success is achieved, and no easy routes to it.
Nearing the end, the story becomes predictable, but you are already deep in it, so I doubt you will keep the book down still.

Though I have heard a lot about 'Kane and Abel', this was the time I read the whole novel. I was extremely touched by Archer's amazing characterization of the two major protagonists and tracing their turbulent lives from cradle to grave. If someone says that everything happens because of 'his' or 'her' own efforts should read this novel to fathom the power of 'destiny' which can make and unmake things in lives however weak or powerful they are.
